E-Mail Server Information

In user name field use the FULL Midstate email address for both the POP and IMAP settings below.

POP Settings

  • Incoming Mail Server =
    SSL: On, Port: 995
  • Outgoing Mail Server =
    SSL: On, Port: 465, Use Authentication

IMAP Settings

  • Incoming Mail Server =
    SSL: On, Port: 993
  • Outgoing Mail Server =
    SSL: On, Port: 465, Use Authentication

Please contact our office at 605-778-6221 during regular business hours and our helpful customer service staff will assist you in changing your password.

Setting Up Your Midstate E-Mail

Below are instructions for setting up access for both methods.


  1. Connect to Webmail.
  2. Login with your e-mail address and the password you chose when you signed up.
  3. To learn how to use your e-mail program, click Help on the tool bar at the top of the Outlook window

Windows Live Mail 2012

To add an e-mail account:

  1. Open Windows Live Mail
  2. Click on Accounts
  3. Click E-Mail
  4. In the E-Mail Address box type in your full e-mail address – i.e.
  5. In the Password box type in your password and check the Remember This Password box
  6. Fill in the Display Name box   this can be whatever you want
  7. Click “Manually” to Configure Server Settings
  8. Click next

  1. Server type is POP
  2. Server address is  Port: 995
  3. Authenticate using Clear Text
  4. Logon Username   will be your full email address
  5. Outgoing Server Information is Server Address:
  6. Port: 465
  7. Click on Requires Authentication
  8. Click Finish
